I believe the wolf is probably the most symbolic of all animals. While it is known to be loyal to it's mate, family oriented and travel in packs...some wolves break away. They spend their lives travelling alone...hence the term the lone wolf. I titled this piece after a Staind song called 'when i'm gone'...there was a lyric in there called 'the road is long'...probably how it feels to be a lone wolf.
